Feline Kit
The Feline Kit is a sterile, ready-to-use blood collection and processing system designed for small-volume blood banking.
Optimized for feline donors, it allows the safe collection of 50-60 mL of whole blood and supports the preparation and storage of packed red cells and plasma. Its design is also suitable for small dogs, small transfusion recipients, and exotic species.
The kit includes:
– A 20G sterile needle with a narrow-bore line, ensuring easy venous access and improved donor comfort.
– A closed CPD collection system connected to a SAGM storage bag, enabling efficient processing and extented component storage.
Compact, sterile, and pratical, the Feline Kit provides a reliable solution for veterinary blood banks handing small-volume collections.
INTENDED USES :
First intended use:
100ml blood collection intended for the collection of up to 100ml +/- 10% whole blood to be used as fresh whole blood or stored whole blood in CPD.
Second intended use:
Full multi bag system allows the collection, closed processing and storage of 50ml +/- 10% of whole blood into packed red cells in nutrient solution (SAG M) , and plasma products.
PACKAGING :
20G needles are provided singly-wrapped and sterilised by Ethylene Oxide.
Blood kits are provided singly-wrapped and sterilised by steam.
