SA150 Blood Filter
The SA150 is an in-line filter intended to be used for the
removal of particulate material in blood and blood components destined for transfusion into animals.
The filter material is the same nylon mesh used in blood administration filters for humans and has a 150µM pore size.
It should therefore be noted that this filter is not a
microaggregate filter and is not designed to remove
particulate matter of a size less than 150µM

INTENDED USE :
Removal of particulate material in blood and blood components destined for transfusion into animals. The filter material is the same nylon mesh used in blood administration filters for humans and has a 150µM pore size.
PACKAGING :
Filters are provided singly-wrapped and sterilised by Ethylene Oxide.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The SA150 filter can be placed at any point in the infusion line.
The filter has been validated for up to 250ml infusions at high volume rates
(50ml/min).
The small filter size and circular design allows a low priming volume to reduce loss of product for small volume transfusions.
The filters include a male and female luer lock.
The filter is bi-directional allowing flow in either direction.
